While we wouldn't have had Father's Day but for Spokane resident Sonora Smart Dodd, the Lady who started it all in 1910, it was perhaps a coincidence that I came across the US Presidential Proclamation for the Day too, in simple and lucid words and sentences...

Running away from any problem only increases it's distance from the solution. The easiest way to escape is to solve it. Precisely what Sonora Smart Dodd's father, a Civil War veteran and widower did, raising six children all by himself...

It isn't important as to what people think of you, but rather what you think about yourself, which is the key. Circumstances throw up opportunities, arduous or otherwise, but it is your attitude that determines your choice...

Similarly, your greatness is not in what you have, but what you are able to give. Life is like climate, it can change suddenly, whenever and wherever. But memories are like oxygen making us breathe for ever...

The real meaning of giving is doing what you love, selflessly, thus inspiring and awakening the hearts of others on your way. Such people can't be blocked, deleted or forgotten, because they have reserved a special place in our hearts...

November 8th is observed as International Day Of Radiology as a tribute to the great German scientist Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen for his discovery of X-Rays in 1895.. The 1845 born Nobel Laureate of 1901, Röntgen majored in Physics and completed his PhD at the University of Zurich.. Discovering X-rays accidentally while using cathode rays for images of his wife’s hand, which depicted the bones and the wedding ring, Röntgen had made a giant leap for mankind in medical diagnosis..
