BE GROUNDED

The benefits of close ground contact during the simple ways of life in the times of the past cannot be overemphasized. They probably helped in transferring of the earth’s built-in healing energy to the body, influencing the physiological processes, including the hormonal and nervous systems...

Walking is said to ground one to terra firma, and also to link and obscure up several factors and parameters before the feet leave their imprints. January 2023 end saw the culmination of a 146-day partial walkathon of around 4K kilometers, from India's southern tip Kanyakumari to Kashmir in the north, led by a sitting opposition member of the Indian parliament...

For whatever it's worth, without going into the political objectives and repercussions, I am inclined to appreciate the groups' efforts; I recollect having raised similar aspirations (non-political and unmaterialized) with a bicycle, along with a few collegemates...😀

And as for the abovesaid walkathon it could possibly make people rethink whether politics really is a last resort of a scoundrel...😀

Accepting reviews, favourable or otherwise, in the proper spirit is essential for one's overall progress. For, at least one can be assured of being noticed and not ignored; every person yearns for recognition, something that acts as the catalyst to spur one on. The viewpoints could be of value if one isn't averse to unlearning and relearning, rather than dismissing them as dissent, antipathic or conspiratorial...

One good thing about our times, I feel, is the availability of advice, free or paid, in plenty and about almost anything under the sun. Yet one never appears satiated, and keeps continously searching the 'buffet.' Which is fine as long as one moves forward with a mind wide open...

To realise that everything happens 'for us', with the preferable line of thinking being "what is the lesson here for me", rather than "why is it happening to me", and to concentrate on the silver lining for that 'take home pearl'...

Remain grounded...🙂
