It gets so difficult to decide what to say, to write or to address our grief stricken brethren, caught in the line of nature's fury for no fault of theirs...
To just be by their side and to simply listen to what they have to say, in conjunction with the massive rehabilitation process underway, should be the main gestures to shower soothing comfort for the heartbroken...
Their prospects of having to possibly begin from scratch, with the loss of loved ones, property and wealth combined with a mammoth uncertainty looming large, would always be daunting...
From despair to hope should be our motto and endeavour, despite the fact that we increasingly begin to realize that our lives just hang tantalizingly by that slender fragile thread...
Lending a patient ear is the hallmark of a true friend. By comforting words and actions of company, of empathy, of boosting morale, of enlivening, of reassurance that things would pass for the better...
Right actions at the right time would augment the healing process...
Let us all during these difficult times join in prayers for our fellow citizens of the world bearing the brunt of the disaster in Turkey and Syria. Let us pray to the Almighty to protect and bless all those involved in the herculean humanitarian efforts to expedite succour to all those affected at the earliest...
