Friends, Food and Fireworks complete the trio for France's perfect Bastille Day which commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison on July 14th, 1789, an event that marked the beginning of the French Revolution, and seen as the first victory of the people of Paris against 'The Last' Louis XVI's regime...

The day acquires significance for India since her current premier was the guest of honour on this memorable occasion. Incidentally, this year marks 25 years of strategic partnership between France and India, with the military parade performed by troops from both nations.
