THE APPEARANCE

Came across the quote alongside, by Brian Tracy, sent by one of my "good morning" contacts. Needless to say, it made me put on my thinking cap...

Much as one would scream from the rooftops to not judge a book by it's cover, people still do just that. And since every person has a unique textbook of life at hand, one needn't really wait for any example to follow...

While I would agree with the oft-quoted adage, "any time is right for doing the right thing", I thought it implied a sense of urgency as well, and that to defer it isn't necessarily prudence...

As someone said, "one ought to be ready to grab the opportunity as and when it knocks on one's door", could be rephrased as, "wake up, dress up and go find the doors of opportunities to knock on"...

Since there is no certainty of the future, the earlier you do or attain something, more the time of your life you get to be with them. For, the work required to be happy is quite enormous, to learn to accept what is, and to focus on what will be, to practise empathy and to stick to one's principles...
