A CHOCOLATE CALLED FORGIVENESS

A CHOCOLATE CALLED FORGIVENESS

While to err is human, we, committing mistakes day in and day out, continue to love ourselves to no end, don't we? Yes, of course. How would you then justify pillorying others for just that one mistake?...

A day to forgive and be forgiven, Global Forgiveness Day was started in Canada, 1994, by the Christian Embassy of Christ’s Ambassadors. Be it days, months or years, who you are now carries more weight than who you were before. It is thus never late to introspect, to forgive oneself or others, or to be the person you love to be...

Let us this day strive to set aside old differences and enmities, and start afresh by relieving ourselves of the parasitic tenants in the form of grudges and anger cluttering our minds...

The goodwill thus created paves way for healing, and studies have shown it's connection with happiness, which in itself is a great reason to live a life rallying around tolerance. It would also be a great idea to make a list of all politicians, past and present, responsible for the world’s current predicaments... 😀 😉

So what if we let chocolates come to our aid? While it is difficult to resist chocolates, consider life as a box of them, with flavours perceived only after consumption; one never knows what life would dole out, but one lives nevertheless - just as consuming chocolates - it by then being late not to...

If lives are cookies, friends are their chocolate chips, and to maintain them deposits of chocolates ought to be made. Once tasted, chocolate consumes you, enabling to forgive almost anyone, adversaries included. The take-home pearl is to learn to deal with whatever you are dealt with...

Earth, the only planet where chocolates are found, is still worth existing upon, with the latter making life bearable. And while tea/coffee may keep somnolence at bay, it is chocolate that makes it worthwhile...😀

Forgiveness, therefore, is the biggest gift of life, the essence of moving on in life, peace ensuing. And if chocolate is the answer, then any question is of no importance. Life, after all, is like a box of chocolates – full of nuts... 😀😀
